Linkserver Quattro is an extremely powerful, high performance media library that forms the core of a Cyruslink system. With a 250GB storage capacity, it allows uncompressed storage of up to 450 Hours for audiophile quality playback through the internal Cyrus Q7 module. Alternatively, by selecting one of the MP3 compression options and trading off ultimate quality for storage space, the storage capacity can be increased to 4500 Hours. You can create personal playlists and play tracks singly, randomly, by album, by artist or by genre.
Linkserver can be added into an existing Cyrus audio or A/V system through the prime audio output that is a unique feature of all Linkserver units, providing the perfect path for decoding the bit-perfect uncompressed data from the music library. A custom Cyrus DAC module is fitted internally to feed this output as the primary source of music for a Cyrus audio system and is able to retrieve and store album / track information and cover art from the Internet.

Wireless Digital multiroom
If you prefer, all 4 zones can be connected wirelessly, using Linkports with additional wireless networking hardware. This gives you the option to expand your system in the way that best suits your home and your budget.
Expand into a stunning hi-fi system
The Linkserver incorporates the latest Cyrus DAC technology, so can act as a high quality music source within a Cyrus audio system. Simply connect your Linkserver to the AU2 socket of your amplifier then make sure each element of the system is integrated into the MC-BUS loop with the Linkserver for complete control. Volume in the prime zone is controlled from either a pre/power combination or by using an integrated amplifier. The system is navigated using the supplied IR handset, menus being viewed on your TV screen.
PC and the Net
You can use your PC and Internet connection to edit your music library, copy music files from the Internet onto the Linkserver’s hard drive, burn CDs, update album/track listings and cover art and synchronise a portable MP3 player with Linkserver. You can even choose the rate of compression to suit the media being stored. In other words, the children’s current favourites can be stored at maximum compression whilst a few, well-chosen albums can be saved as bit-perfect copies, for playback of the very highest quality. Compression rates offered are: Uncompressed; 128kb/s; 192VBR and 320kb/s.
